Dr. Andrew Wichterman brings nearly two decades of clinical counseling experience and over 14 years of teaching future therapists in graduate-level training programs. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University, where he is deeply invested in equipping the next generation of counselors to integrate biblical theology with compassionate, effective clinical practice.

As a therapist, Dr. Wichterman takes a whole-person approach—spirit, mind, and body. He believes that true healing goes beyond symptom management and aims to uncover the root causes of emotional and behavioral struggles. His work is centered around helping clients experience lasting transformation, using natural and sustainable approaches to wellness whenever possible. He is particularly passionate about minimizing dependency on psychiatric medication when other supportive paths to healing are available.

Dr. Wichterman offers comprehensive ADHD testing and evaluations for children, teens, and adults. Through in-depth interviews, evidence-based tools, and a deeply compassionate lens, he provides clarity, insight, and individualized guidance to support meaningful change. Whether you’re seeking an accurate diagnosis, help navigating complex challenges, or simply a deeper understanding of yourself or your child, Dr. Wichterman is here to help.
